Everything You Need To Consider During Rebranding

There will come a time when you think your company needs a bit of a shake up. And there is no better way to shake up your business than by rebranding it. When you go through a rebranding, you will completely overhaul the look of your company’s whole branding and logo. This means redesigning the website, social media profiles, and any printed marketing materials that you use. You might think that this doesn’t sound too difficult, as it just requires a bit of a redesign. However, that isn’t the case. Get it right, and it can really give your company a big boost. Get it wrong, however, and you might find that some of your old customers get put off by the new look and could take their money elsewhere.

Wondering how you can get your rebranding just right? If so, then read on!

Hire An Expert

If this is your first attempt at rebranding, you will find it very useful to hire the expertise of a rebranding expert. This can be quite expensive, but you will be able to find it by going to https://smallbusinessloans.co and applying for some finance. Even though this can work out quite pricey, it will certainly be worth it in the long run. Firstly, that is because an expert can be an objective third party, and they can bring a different perspective to your viewpoint. Not only that, though, but they can their years of expertise and experience to the table and explain how you can effectively execute the rebranding.

Find Some Continuity

A rebrand shouldn’t be a completely new beginning; it just has to be a different chapter. So, it is important that there is some continuity between your old branding and the new one. You might want to keep the same color in the logo for example. Alternatively, you might want to hold on to the typeface that appeared in your old branding. Think about an element of your current branding that really speaks to the public, and try to hold onto that for continuity.

Give Your Company Enough Time

Most people think that rebranding takes hardly any time at all. However, that couldn’t be any further from the truth. In actual fact, it can take a long time, and you need to prepare your company to go through this lengthy process, especially if you want your new brand to be the best it possibly can. Make sure you set up a timeline to work to, using tools like https://tomsplanner.com. Expect to go through lots and lots of redesigns before things start to go right!

Give People Time To Accept It

It might also take your customers and clients time to adapt to and accept the new design and branding. So, don’t worry if your customer numbers drop off shortly after the relaunch of your brand. After a month or so, they will have forgotten about the whole rebranding and will certainly return. They’ll definitely start to prefer the new branding!

Hopefully, all of these tips have given you plenty of food for thought!

Simple Marketing Tips To Boost Engagement & Increase Traffic!

As a marketing manager with extensive experience managing global affiliate programmes, I would regularly have to monitor up to 300 websites to ensure they could make the best possible sales from our product.

This meant offering them advice on everything from web design and fonts, to social media icons and effective tips on how to increase their blog post views and to reach their audience base.

Just something as simple as moving your social media icons to the top of your landing page can have quite a positive ripple effect, so I thought I would share with you my top 3 tips on how to increase your engagement and traffic!

Use MOZ to find your domain authority

Domain Authority (DA) is a search engine ranking score developed by Moz that predicts how well a website will rank on search engine result pages (SERPs).  It’s important to increase your domain because the higher number, the more likely you will show up in organic search results. Facebook is a 100 for example. Improving our organic ranking is VERY important as it means we do not need to rely on paid ads as we will be more easily found through organic searches.

In general, the higher the D.A, the higher you will rank in google searches.

To improve your D.A we need to start posting more content – like a company blog – and also to start connecting with other websites. For example, you want to find other websites in your niche and then reach out to them and create a short blog post in exchange for a backlink leading back to your site. The more sites you connect with, the higher your domain authority number and the higher you start to rank on google search engines.

Simplify your tabs!

Do you remember years back before we had Sky and Netflix we would only have 4 channels? It seems that now I have the option of hundreds of channels, I can never find anything to watch and that’s my point in question…..

Too many options CAN be a bad thing!

There’s nothing that will get your message lost quicker than multiple options on a landing page – the page people see first when they land on your site. Did you know on average you have just 15 SECONDS to get your message across before the customer leaves your site. This is why you want to get your message across and keep your site map as simple as possible, thus ensuring they stay on your site for longer.

So if you have an online shop, rather than having a separate tab for shoes, dresses ect, try to have it all under one tab. If you have ‘about us’ and ‘our story’ under a tab each, once again these can be consolidated.

The aim on any landing page should be to tell your audience what you do in a sentence!

Social Media Shares the easy way!

As a founder, I’m sure you have little time to build your facebook likes and are tempted to buy them. Before you do, check out the free methods below to get your content shared to a larger audience base and to increase facebook page likes!

For social media shares that are also free, if you can have plug ins for your site check out a site called Triberr. You join tribes in your niche and then they share your content. For example, I have an 11k reach on Twitter but by joining other tribes on Triberr, we pool together all our followers so now I have a reach of 21 million if they share my posts with their followers.

For facebook page likes, check out as a site called Kingdom of likes. You like other peoples Facebook pages and in return they like yours. They also retweet certain tweets if you want them too and best of all it’s free!
